Named after Polixeni

Polixen was named after our founder Mathew Vlandys’ late grandmother, Polixeni. Mathew witnessed firsthand how she lost her independence in a nursing home — and that experience became the reason Polixen exists.

It prompted him to create cloud-based software specifically for in-home aged care organisations that deliver care in their clients’ own residences, so that more people can stay where they feel most themselves: at home.
